George and I used to travel to Minneapolis at least once, if not twice, a year. So, we would know our way around, including all of the good shopping and eating places!! (See, I have priorities.)
We always stay here:
The Marriott in downtown Minneapolis. They have free parking, and this hotel is close to these places.
A girl's dream....Everything a girl could ever want, but almost never afford. But, still it's fun to look, and shop the sale floors!
While Minneapolis is wonderful, I see two downsides to going there. One, I will be there in July when I go see Beth Moore. Yippie! And, two, we always go there. So, here is another possibility.
2. Kansas City, Missouri.
Now, I know for a fact that I have at least one Missouri native in the house, and I fully expect her opinion. Hint, hint, Julie D.. Despite the fact that it's been on the list for several years now, George and I have not yet made it down to KC to stay at the Plaza. I know that they have these fine retailers there.

The Raphael
I don't know. What do you all think? Any ideas or suggestions. I am not necessarily tied to either of these places. I mean, we could always get crazy and go farther away from home. So, tell me, where do you think we should go?

My first thought was Kansas City since that's close to me and a place people around here go for weekend trips. BUT Minneapolis looks great too. It's just fun you're going somewhere. Something to look forward to!
I think you should venture somewhere new and try out KC!!! It's a really fun town and the plaza is great! I think they have a nice zoo!
I've never been to minneapolis so I would pick there but you have been there a lot and it's always fun to go somewhere new!!!
P.S. It WAS fun talking to you!!!!
I just did a google search of Iowa, Chicago isn't far. What about the Windy City? Although, both of the choices you put on there look fun!
Oh My Goodness, Heather! You will have a GREAT time!!! YAY for you! Oh! And I meant to email you earlier about my website! Thanks for being interested! http://www.marykay.com/mprice11193. There are many new products. Have you seen the new MK commercial yet?
Either one...just getting away can be nice in its self. They both look and sound awesome!
Hope you guys have a great weekend trip!
Hi Heather. I'm so glad you stopped by my blog. I have "seen" you many times while leaving comments on other blogs. You are always so sweet! I just went through this same decision last week. I wanted to stay nearby and be where I new how to get around. So, I vote for #1, but I'm sure whichever one you choose will be fantastic. Just getting away is the fun. I hope you have a great time! I'll definitely be back to read more about you.
